Light Shard abilities
When Richie was infected, he gained the ability to control people's minds with his joy stick, which he causes to fire a light energy blast. When a person is hit by one of those blasts they fall under his control and gain light blue, square-shaped eyes and the ability to shoot blasts of light energy. He could also project energy blasts from his hands as well and absorb light energy from any Yo-Kwan Do artist who was using it, such as Vicki.
